| Biography | Jack William Taylor is an architect and Associate Director at A IS FOR ARCHITECTURE, a London practice established in 2021. His work spans architecture, masterplanning and urban regeneration, with a focus on complex coastal, waterfront and urban sites.
Previously at ACME and Sauerbruch Hutton, Jack worked on projects internationally. He also has a keen interest in the architecture and urbanism of the Caucasus and Central Asia, which began as a student and has continued through A IS FOR ARCHITECTURE’s recent masterplan proposals for Almaty.
Jack has played a key role in the practice’s long-term work in Folkestone, contributing to the town’s regeneration through residential development, masterplanning, landscape, public realm and meanwhile-use projects. Through this work, he has developed extensive experience in delivering complex, long-term regeneration. He is particularly interested in how housing, landscape, heritage and existing communities can come together to create new neighbourhoods while reinforcing a place’s identity. |
