Hongdi Li

Hongdi Li is the founder of Studio Lux, a multidisciplinary practice spanning from the public realm to the sculpted object, and from spatial experiences to digital narratives.

Holding RIBA membership, Hongdi has continually evolved Studio Lux’s creative practice to offer increasing value to collaborators. Her portfolio ranges from cultural and civic memorials to the integration of heavy infrastructure with public life. Winning top placements at UK and international competitions, these concepts translate stakeholder manifestos into meaningful public experiences that foster identity, memory, and a strong sense of place.

In supporting client projects, she leads technical teams to produce compelling visualisations that communicate complex proposals with architectural sensibility. These visual narratives secure global bids and facilitate the successful sale of prominent developments across the capital. She highly values her ongoing engagement with the City of London’s dynamic and historic environment.

Distilling this architectural rigour into miniature forms, the practice designs collections of sculptural objects utilising reclaimed materials. The works have been exhibited at prominent British contemporary art and craft fairs.
